Attached is the second Yorkshire MAG newsletter of 2025. Also attached is a flyer for the forthcoming Rider’s Resistance Demo ride on Saturday 5th July.
CALL TO ACTION
We are asking Yorkshire MAG members to:
- Join the demo on Saturday 5th July
- Distribute the demo flyer (attached to your newsletter email) far and wide (flood social media press / radio / bike shops / dealers / petrol stations / anywhere that bikers hangout, with the flyer)
- Encourage all your mates to join the demo on Saturday 5th July
- Contact your MP to highlight to them MAG’s demands for motorcycling:
- Motorcycles to have default access to bus lanes
- No to the 2030 ban on new petrol motorcycles (motorcycles are an existing technology with a low pollution and congestion footprint, so are therefore part of the solution, not part of the problem)
- Fair and proportionate road tax
- Simplify the licensing and riding test regime to make motorcycles more accessible, especially to young riders
