The
Motorcycle Action Group (MAG) was formed in 1973 to campaign
for voluntary crash helmet use. Since that time MAG has
broadened the scope of its activities, making MAG the leading
body campaigning on behalf of motorcyclists in the UK.
MAG is very much a grass-roots organisation,
with a large number of full and affiliated members, local
groups, and local activity.
MAG was instrumental in setting up FEM, which
went on to become the FEMA, of which MAG is an active member
organisation.
